Looking Glass Theatre ~ San Diego is a 100% volunteer based, non-profit, intergenerational community theatre in Hillcrest comprised of families and individuals sharing their love of the performing arts. We do not pay or charge our actors or performers. Long ago, “Mobile” was part of the name of the company (LGMT) and the shows traveled to various stages throughout San Diego, Orange, San Bernardino, AND Los Angeles counties.
For its 30th Pearl Anniversary Season, Looking Glass Theatre is going Mobile once again! They are taking their 51st production, “More Life Slices, a Second Helping” to Broadway! 970 Broadway in Chula Vista, to be exact, at the First Unitarian Universalist Church of San Diego‘s South Bay campus. Tickets are $10 and are available at the door.
Directors Everardo Aguilar, Kia Bordner, Les GrantSmith, Gay Hybertsen, and Rosalie Riedel are taking their five short plays of poignant life-changing moments for an “Out of Town Review” matinee, Saturday, November 5th at 3 pm. “MLS” are five one-act plays with mature themes, such as life after breast cancer, navigating the relationship between a mother-in-law and her daughter-in-law, coming out, cracking Santa’s lists, and the passing on of treasured heirlooms.
